The National Assembly as a whole (including ministers) voted to strike articles from an interpellation advanced by MP Riyadh al-Adsani against the prime minister. The government argued that the articles were against the constitution. This set a new precedent in parliamentary maneuvers over interpellations. Following the vote the MP declined to take the floor to discuss the revised interpellation.
