Added the results for the 2016 byelection.
Added vote November 2011 vote
Added the November 2011 vote on removing the interpellation of al-Sadoun and al-Anjiri from the agenda of the National Assembly. This is an indication of the coalition in favor of removing Nasir al-Muhammad as prime minister.
By election candidates
I’ve added the candidates for the by-election to fill the seat vacated by Nabeel al-Fadhel. I also fixed a few broken links.
Home page update
I’ve updated the homepage of the website to make it a bit prettier, and maybe easier to use.
Nabeel al-Fadhel
I updated the database to reflect the passing of MP Nabeel al-Fadhel during the session of the National Assembly yesterday, the 22nd of December.
New URL and server
I’ve moved the database to a new URL: www.kuwaitpolitics.org. Links to the old site (including to specific pages) will work until my university finally shuts down the server that formerly hosted the website. That will probably be a long while (years, not months). Anyhow, if you have bookmarks or links, now would be a good time to update them to the new URL.
Government changes
Ahmed al-Jassar resigns from Electricity & Water and Public Works; Ali Saleh Al-Omair moves from Oil to Public Works to avoid interpellation; Anas Khaled Al-Saleh adds Oil ministry; Mohammed Abdullah adds Electricity & Water ministry
New minister
Yousef Al-Ali joins the government as minister of Commerce & Industry.
Cabinet changes
Updated several changes to the government.
