A total of 254 candidates registered, though some have withdrawn already. This is fewer candidates than in recent elections, probably because the last election was less than a year ago.

At the end of the ninth day of registration 213 candidates have registered (and one has withdrawn, though I am not sure who). Tomorrow is the last day of registration.

Only 140 candidates so far, three days of registration left.

At the end of day 5, 119 candidates have registered, among them 4 female candidates.

Another 24 candidates registered on May 7th, bringing the total to 85.
